LGBT in Television Over the Years

I did a PowerPoint presentation looking at the LGBT representation in the television medium over the years going from mid 20th century to present 21st century to see if anything has changed. I found that not much has chnaged drastically in the representation of these people, and many of the characters that portray these roles still tend to be quite mediocre.

Here is a timeline I made which tells the history of LGBT rights in Britain and includes some key American moments in LGBT history as well.

Collective Identity

Collective Identity means a group of people that are linked by a common factor. For my section B of the exam I have chose to study sexuality as my collective identity. The definition of my collective identity group is:

A group of people that are all defined by their sexuality which may reflect on their charcteristics and deviants from the norm.
